To file a patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), inventor-signed documents are required. You may download the Combined Declaration and Power of Attorney for Utility or Design Patent Application, fill out the Title of the Invention, Priority Information (if available), the inventor(s) name, inventor’s address and nationality, and then send to us the copy by email or fax.
Declaration or oath is required by the USPTO. The Power of Attorney is for you to designate us as a representative to prosecute patent applications on your behalf with the USPTO. This is a combined form of a declaration and a power of attorney for individual inventors.
This is a power of attorney for a corporate applicant or an individual applicant as an assignee in an assignment. In the United States, an assignment recordation is required for a non-inventor applicant to secure the whole or partial interest of a patent application.
Since 2013, the United States of Patent and Trademark Office has allowed an applicant to claim a micro entity status if qualified. In order for an applicant to qualify for a micro entity status. the applicant needs to meet requirements to enjoy benefits of reduced fees.
